babbling blues

now i'm hoping this thread gets to stay but if not o well. went to an rqe tonight drew out with some blue dogs. never seen dogs babble or slick sow much in my life. 4 in a row all circle. 5th drop I finally get struck in and we get sow far awey from my gog the 8 gets me. she had the coon them blue dogs chased eachother atleast a mile before they slicked again. and they got the b***s to ask wats wrong with my dog. next drop 3rd strike shes working it out of the crick bottem and the one guys dog trees I get 2nd no biggy. next drop im plus now they strike rite of the leash oh no babble this time hmmm. 3rd strike for me they tree (slick)she gets up over the hill out of hearing. the judge has the 8 going well there checking there slick. how can you here anything when your dogs are treeing. sow she puts him up but the 8 got me again. heck i'm going to find me the biggest mouth babbling slick treeing idiot i can find and see if no i'm not but ukc needs to do somthing about this babbling rule. it was a 3 dog cast so no I lost on the votes

where they last heard my dog was laying dirt in there dogs face going over the hill awey from that slick. no this is not meant to bash any coller dog. they were blue thats all. wat was happening is I was just geting out slicked bie every thing out there. handler,judge and 2blues. when it comes to dogs i'm culler blind.

Sometime you get the bear and some times the bear gets you. I seen plenty of walkers like that so you just have to take your lumps and move on. I hunted with a walker friday night that stood beside us barking and never went anywhere. Sorry for your bad hunt.

im still tryin to figure out why the judge had the 8 running on your dog trailing while 10 minute shine time was running on the tree.......

cross so am i he had the 8 on me twice and cut me short on it twice. like i said a cheat is a cheat. a guy I know said the judge is one ofbiggest cheats he has run across in these hunts. his time will come.

them 2 blue dogs coudn't find a coon if there life depended on it.now if -375/-300 is kicken my but they should of dun it sooner both them blue dogs minused rite out now the judge who aint but maybe 150 soppen wet was kicken my but. with that stop watch and pencil.

The worst dogs I've hunted with have been in competition hunts. And it includes all breeds or colors,. I never, or very rarely ever, have the babblers , the slick treeing idiots, the me-too type dogs that you get in the hunts. That being said, a few of the best dogs I've hunted with have been in the ukc hunts. It's just the nature of the game.
After their tree was scored, you should have went to the last place you heard your dog, then start the 8. I had a judge try and tell me Friday night before the cast turned loose on the first dump, that "if you strike your dog within the first minute, then your dog goes 150 yards or more before opening, I don't care if they open up before the 8 minutes gets them, they will be minus". I told him 'yeah right, he wasn't going to minus any dog before the 8 was up and that if that was all he had to say, shutup and let's turn 'em loose. And if any controversy comes up while hunting we'll vote on it, question mark it, then protest it if need be. Hell, the youth hunter association needs the money anyway."

Sounds to me like those blue dogs were prolly hunted with some super power walker hounds most there life.

Dont judge a whole breed off of two dogs on a cast, heck they prolly dont get hunted right and when they do get hunted its prolly with some slap happy tree dog {walker}.

Oh and by the way ,let me quess you never seen any slick treeing walker hounds?

I went to a hunt this weekend.......2 B&T's and a Walker on my cast.....Both Black dogs(one was mine) wallered a track and finally treed (slick) while the walker runs running one of those coon that run in half mile circles......wasted an hour and 40 mins.

Danged ol Blue dog was high scoring dog of our B&T sectional....

My fri. night draw was good at the sectional, I had Tom from Tx and James from Tx. both and we seen only two coons but we had fun any way! And we got plenty of exercise! lol

i think his problem was with the handlers of some dogs that werr babbling (and maybe had some other problems, along with problem owner/handlers) and happened to have been of the bluetick breed!!!!!
