Franklin,N.C. (Macon County) Coon Hunters RQE

Macon County CHA located in Franklin,N.C. RQE will be Saturday April 18.Bench show deadline will be at 4 pm with treeing/roll cage to follow.Night hunt deadline will be 8 pm.Good country cookin' will be served all day with breakfast to follow until deadline of hunt are until all is gone.You all come and enjoy a day of good fellowship,clean fun,and a good place to hunt. COME AND JOIN US,Thanks Macon county CHA.

FRANKLIN, MACON COUNTY IS ABOUT 65 MILES WEST OF ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, 20 MILES NORTH OF CLAYTON GEORGIA, AND ABOUT 50 MILES EAST OF MURPHY, NC.

THIS IS AN AWESOME CLUB! THEY ALWAYS HAVE A HUGE TURN OUT!

YES WE DID BREED JR. WE BRED HIM TO HERCULES, RANGER AND ROCK'S MAMA. SHE IS OWNED BY A FRIEND OF OURS.

SHE HAD 11 PUPS WHILE WE WERE GONE TO SETW DAYS, AND ALL ENDED UP DYING AND SHE GOT AN INFECTION IN HER UTERUS AND HAD TO BE SPAYED.

IT WAS NOT A GOOD TIME. VET SAID INFECTIONS WERE COMMON IN FEMALES IF THEY DONT PASS ALL THE STUFF TO "CLEAN" OUT.

WHO KNOWS. WE MIGHT TRY HIM ON ANOTHER FEMALE, BUT THERE WERE SO MANY FREAK THINGS WITH THAT LITTER IT WAS ALMOST LIKE IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE TO START WITH.

EVERYONE COME JOIN THE FUN AT FRANKLIN! GREAT PEOPLE! GREAT CLUB! GREAT FOOD!

YOU WONT REGRET IT A BIT!

ten out of twelve had plus points.an english dog from Tenn. won first place,Marlon Keener got 2nd with Little Man,and I got 8th with Kinseys Nighttime Tree Bender (Ben).Don't know who the rest were.

results

The English dog had 745.83+ and belongs to Junior and Daniel Watson from Sevierville TN. Arthur Crabtree from Newport TN placed 4th I think with 3 something and Bob Bray's Bluetick from Bulls Gap TN with Jerry Cansler handling got 10th with 150+. Jerry sorry if I misspelled that last name. We were the only guys from Tennessee there that I knew. Chad Lanning with Rover placed 7th or 8th not for sure on the place but he got him qualified anyway. We had a great hunt there and drawed some great guys. Here is the picture of our dog after the hunt.

WELL, WE QUALIFIED ANGEL, A MALTESE PLOTT FEMALE QUINCY HAD BEEN SHOWING FOR THE WORLD SHOW, AND FINISHED HER TO GRAND THE SAME DAY.
