Hey, if any of you are on here and you think your club would be interested in hosting the Grand National Reunion in 2005-2006 how about Emailing me or giving me a call !!!

I'm looking down around Sesser, but it does not have to be there, but has to be a location with GOOD LOCAL CLUB SUPPORT, so you know you can handle the dogs for 3 nights of hunting.

If you think your club would be interested contact me ASAP !!

I dont know if we could handle it,what kind of numbers are we talking?
We have the hunting ground for sure,how many guides would be needed for such a thing?

Rob, it is more than just one club can handle I'm sure, but if you have other clubs in the area that you can count on and are willing to work with you I'd say be prepared for 100+ dogs and you should be safe. If you have 25 guides and that takes in account anyone who enters within 75-100 miles and an extra 5 or so standbys you should be able to handle it. Know of any clubs that could handle this????

I will have to do some calling around,the closest club(but no longer inoperation) was Westville,they used to put on some pretty big hunts. Give me a few days.

Sorry Mark but

our club seems unable to commit to such an large undertaking,couldnt get enough guys to commit. It sure is a shame as there is alot of room for hunters and hounds at our club, and off hand I cant think of many clubs where you can draw out and turn out right at the club. It sure makes alot of the old timers feel still conected to be able to sit at the club house and hear some good dog work.
There has been a diffrence of opinions on many things that have split our core into many splinter groups. We have some things in the works that hopefully will find us a stronger and more commited club in 04.
Sure hope you can find a club in IL that would be great! Have you contacted the Flora club they seem to have the means to carry out such an event.

Rob unless Flora has changed we could not afford to go there, they gave me a bid once for Bluetick days and wanted more than we take in for the whole hunt !!!!!
