Dustin Myers

I was wondering if you could post a picture of ole ugly. I was looking on the board a while back and ran across a thread and seen this great looking dog you called ole ugly. I'm just a rabbit hunter that enjoys looking at the different hounds. I personally think that you guys have some of the best looking hounds on the board. I enjoy looking at all your thread and seeing them lightfoot hounds treed. Keep up the great work and happy hunting thanks for your time.

Thanks for the nice comments. Ole Ugly has moved to a new northern location. This is the only recent picture I have of him.

Here are a couple other pups from the litter. We're getting ready to find out how they like bears here in May.

Darlene,
They are 6 1/2 months old right now. I have high hopes of breeding Venom to my Gambler or Throttle dog some day, if she makes the type of hound that I hope she does. Of course I have alot of work to do with her between now and then, to first make sure she is the quality of female that deserves to be bred.

Thanks

They are fine looking pups, thats for sure. I always love to follow your threads. Your group of guys have some great hounds, and some awesome cat pictures. My favorite dog was Blackjack, and my sympathy goes out to you on the loss of him. He sure resembles some of our hounds.
We don't plan to have a litter this summer cuz we have plenty of pups to train at this time. We are pretty excited to see what we produced last summer.
Hope to see some good bear hunting pics on here soon!! I wish we could run them here in MT., but we usually travel once a year or so to run bear. We even went to Vancouver Island once. Big bear and rough terrain. Good time.
Happy Hunting
Darlene

Thank you for the compliments, and good luck with your pups this year.

We have a field trial to go to in Canada this weekend, and then in a couple weeks we will be heading to the woods to look for some trophies with fur on them. If we're lucky, maybe we'll find another one like this.

Scott,
He was down in a big canyon and we had to cut him up and pack him out on our backs, so I could only guess at what he would have weighed. His skull measured 19 1/2 inches after drying.

Thanks again everyone.
