Your probably looking for current but for me without a doubt, the houndsmen I would like to have met would have been Ben Lilly.

I'd love to set down and talk with Ben Lilly. Guy Ormiston wrote in the bloodlines one time about talking to him while he(Guy) was hunting a pair of pup's. Then one of the pup's bumped into him and woke him up. LOL

John Wick came to our Youth hunt at Wyatt last year. He was there all day and all night. He was the last person to leave our clubhouse. He swept the floors before he left. He is 10 times more impressive in person and that's saying alot.

I'll agree...............Met him at the ACHA World Hunt last year. Folks picked his ear all day long and he was happy to answer and give his opinion.

Lee Logan. I spoke to him yesterday on the phone and I've spoke to him a couple times in the past.
I'm probably half is age and he is hunting twice as hard as I do.
My dad has hunted with him before along with Brian Wessel. I'd like to opportunity to spend some time with him and pick his brain on breeding dogs.

from my redbone perspective I would like to meet Col. Dorman Clouse, he wrote articles for one of the Assn's for years and ended them with the phrase "Come on Redbones"

I agree with several other's mentioned above; notably Ben Lilly and current John Wick...I met John Wick at Orangeburg 2 years ago, bought a book and had it signed...but I'd like to go hunting with him, really have a one on one conversation.
