Weird Heat Cycle

We have a 5 y/o healthy female here that skipped her last heat. We believe it was because she was being hunted so hard and was in very lean condition; NO body fat. She was due to come in heat again about a month ago. She didn't....Yesterday I noticed some spotting and some swelling. Today not so much but still slightly swollen. She has always come in heat regularly and has had three healthy litters of pups. Any input?

Hi Gemenite.Dawns daughter Sadie should have been in heat in February and evidently missed completely.No help but same problem.Maybe its hereditary lol.Later Ron

She may be starting to come in heat now. Vet told me the other day there has been some weird heat cycles this spring.

DANIELLE BURTHA IS IN HEAT AND WILL BE COMING BACK FROM MOUNT VERNON BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK. IF YOU GIRLS WANT TO TIE DAWN BESIDE HER FOR A DAY FEEL FREE. OR I MAY BE ABLE TO STOP BY AND LET HER PEE AROUND DAWNS BOX TO HELP PULL HER IN HEAT. LATER

Thanks guys for the input. She started bleeding regularly and apparantly she is in heat for sure now .

our old female same thing... always had regular cycle til this time...should of been Dec. just now going out... Global Warming?
