THEY PUT IT ON THE SAME WEEKEND AS THE PKC TEXAS STATE HUNT OR MAYBE PKC PUT IT ON THEIR NIGHT? I KNOW THEY DREW OVER 70 DOGS A NIGHT LAST YEAR FOR IT TO BE A PURINA HUNT!!

Local Hunt

I went to a local hunt last night and they were 4 cast of nt.ch and 4 cast of reg., which was pretty good for around here.

Used to be a big one like Winter Classic and Autumn Oaks only kinda out west. Went several times in the past just to show a couple hounds. Around 1200 miles one way when it was at Hearn. Enjoyed the opening ceremonies with the coon hunting mules and I believe it was Harry Lister banging the cans around with his sling shot. Seems like the good ol days now looking back.

The economy may have something to do it too. Last year when gas prices were so high the hunt numbers were way down I though.
