Garmin map page ?

how come when I go to the map page sometimes I can see the roads and creeks and othertimes I can't?I have a map card.
Also how do I clear the old hunts out?

GO TO DOG. THEN HIT MENU AND IT WILL SHOW IFO THEN HIT MENU AGAIN THEN CLEAR THE OLD HUNTS

With a map card w/topo, should I be able to see the woods too?? I see rds and creeks, but no woods.
