garmin ?

if some one is hunting with a ATS 155 freq is that going to mes with the garmin in any way ,if that person is tracking ,and you are tracking ,is that going to be like some one useing a cb ,and burn up the garmin,I saw on here earlier where the cb radios where hurting the garmin

You mean people still use CB radios? I figured those went out with smoke signals.

I use a garmin Astro 220 with the DC20 & 30's and have never had interference from a CB radio. Most of the Deer hunters in the area use CB's to communicate on dog directions, but it has bothered my Garmin.

It is the vhf radios that are real close in frequencies that are causing problems.

so they are in the 150`s on freq. right?? If so so are the ats ,so would the ats reciver ,hurt it .

Mr. Harris the ATS receiver is receiving just like the Garmin Receiver is doing. They both are receiving signal from transmitters on a dog. The ATS transmitter (dog collar) doesn't have enough power to hurt the Garmin receiver.
Now high powered radios any frequency near the garmin receiver, especially with the magnetic or long range antenna is a different stroy. You need to be careful there.
