Only 1 Week to go!!! 03/28/2009

Just a reminder for all you folks out there-The Ohio Sportsmen & Sporting Dog Assn 7th annual Children's Benefit Hunt at the Medina County Coonhunters Club in Medina Ohio is March 28th this year, which gives everyone a week to get ready for a worthy cause & a wonderful event for the whole family. This is one of the few events where ALL proceeds are donated to the Children's Hospital in Columbus. Lord knows we wish no one would ever have to take a sick or injured child there, but if you, or a loved one, ever has the need, they are ranked top 10 in the nation for the services they provide for sick & injured children, as well as their familes. The proceeds from this event go to help those with a medical need. I'm sure we all know someone that can't afford medical insurance, especially in this economy! The OSSDA has put this event on in Medina for the last 7 years & every year generous people come from all over to show their support & have a good time. There will be plenty to do rain or shine- Nite Hunt, Treeing Contest, Bench Show, Auction,50/50, Blutick Bingo, Music & just plain fun!! There will be fdog vendors too so bring the family & the neighbors out to Medina & help us show everyone at the Childrens's Hospital how generous we coonhunters can be!!

The association has a great bake sale every year as well & I hear they're going to auction off a dog box too. If you have anything you would like to donate for the auction get ahold of John Hembre (419-652-3565) Mona Fincham (440-839-2525) or Jackie Carpenter (740-398-9758) they'll hook you up. Donations are tax deductable & if you don't have an item to donate, I'm sure they'll take money!!
