Kokomo RQE is well managed.

I have been a member for many years.

The hunting is excellent. Most woods 10-20 miles from the club if not closer.
-----Patch woods, small streams, many coons.

The guides are top notch.
Typically 70 dogs or so.....

Stacy and Lisa Albaugh, Glen Weaver, Kevin Zimmerman....excellent men and solid houndsmen.

Kitchen fully stocked, cheeseburgers, homemade chili, cakes, pies, coffee.

Plenty of parking and large "enough" clubhouse.

Come on over.....I can send direction for you, etc.

oh yeah.....will be hunting my NTCH Redbone.....George.
---need some more redpower!!!

Is the new clubhouse at Peru finished yet?

I dont know if there is going to be one in Peru now. It was suppose to have been by Bellars lodge but i dont think they could get the zoning permits or something. That's Peru for ya though. Dont want anything to come into that town.

I was down there a few weeks ago and they had a spot all graded off and ready to build. Too bad, it was a nice spot.

Woa.....it ain't over till it's over.

Yes, there was a zoning concern, but I'm fairly certain that has been cleared up.

Rome was not built in a day...and work is progressing on the new building. It'll come, but not before the RQE!

They've had that spot cleared out for a year now, but the word is they may be relocating it in another location in Peru. I think where they were going to put it is a great location! What do i know though....i'm just a dumb hillbilly.

As soon as the club gets their money situation straightened out, there WILL be a clubhouse built on the cleared spot in short order.

Hey Elvis.. tell Russ to get some of his moldy money out. lol He should just donate his lodge to the club. That would make a nice place! Well i'm glad to hear that it's gonna happen.

I just made a whirl wind trip to Kokomo. I went with a friend to look at some equipment. We pulled in at 4 am Wednesday slept till 7 got up and looked at the equipment then left at noon headed back to MS. We gotta come back later to pick it up, maybe i can bring a dog and squeeze in some hunting this time.
