Illinois HB198/SB53

Just to give everyone an update on these bills, I was invited to a meeting in Springfield as a representive of the Illinois State Coonhunters. Met with the senator that introduced the bill, Il Dept of Ag and lobbyist both for and against. I believe I got the point across that this is going to effect in an unjust, unnecesary and unreasonable way hound owners in the state. they are going to put together rewrite# 4.
They were took notice when told of number of clubs/members per clubs and hunters that I was talking for. This is one way that YOUR association works for and supports you, and hopefully YOUR association can count on your continued support.
Remember our website www.illinoisstatecoonhunters.com

Thanks for the words of thanks. I firmly believe in the sport of coohunting and as everyone knows a strong supporter of YOUR state association which without it I wouldn't have been invited to that meeting. We all need to stick together and the best way to do that is by belongin to an organization such as the ISCA so if your club hasn't joined us urge them to do so, as you are a member of the ISCA if you are a member club. If you don't belong to a member club you can become an individual member, just check out the website for more info.

Jim,

I thank you for your efforts too. I try my best to keep up the good fight, but sometimes my good intentions and the amount of free time I have are at odds.

My motivation is simple. I want my sons and their sons to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle that includes listening to hounds run a track.
