nite hunt ruling question
Last night i was hunting in a 4 dog cast. On the first tree, dog A was given a warning due to a little face barking. On the second drop dogs B and C were treed. We were about 150 yards from them. Dog A was opened on track and trailed into the same tree as dogs B and C. Just as dog A arrived at the tree a bad fight broke out. The fight ended before we got to the tree and dog B resumed to treeing. Dog A picked up the track past them and kept going his way. It appeared that dog A went in and started a fight. What should the judge, or even dog C's handler, have done in this case since it wasn't seen?

a hunt where you "would have to be there". Seems to be alot of IF's in the scenerio.

Keep in mind there is no "warning" in UKC. They are either SFF or not.
And yes, it's a had to be there situation.

You had 3 dogs a the tree when the fight broke out. Apparently no one saw the fight so no one knows which dogs were invoved so you can't scratch any of them.
