Oklahoma, Illinios, and now Indiana ... what is up with the HSUS?

It is the atmosphere. This is all part of the recent success of the liberal movement in the United States.

It will take diligence to protect our rights. This is not the time for apathy! We must realize the reality of the situation. We are no longer the majority. Make no mistake, the values that many of us share are in danger.

Everyone in the above states should be pushing a grass roots movement and getting your friends and family involved contacting your legislature, and letting your values be known.

There are people out there who want your rights eliminated!!!!

If you don't believe me, just look at Europe ... look were APATHY got them!

The election of Obama gave a huge shot of hope to every anti organization on earth. He also has shown the way for internet fund raising. All of these things are 90% money talks. For whatever reason, the anti attitude raises huge amounts of money.

For those in here that voted Obama, you asked for it youre getting it.
Did anyone see the Fox News interview yesterday with Peta? The gal with Peta sure enough hated animal eaters and Fox shut her off the air.

The great king and potentate of all liberals is in charge now and they have the power and influence to get done what they want to get done.

Purge these Obama supporting "hunters" and "gunowners" from your clubs, hunts and associations. let them know they are not wanted or needed as their allegiance to Obama has jeopardized the clubs reason for existing.

This won't be a popular statement, but oh well...I'm not here to win a popularity contest.

I can proudly say Oklahomans voted 65% for McCain....not saying he is great...i personally believe he's a selfish idiot....but nothing near what obama is.

I hope very soon this country goes completely belly up and people get hungry enough to eat dirt.

The "blue" states...majority in the northeast have dictated to this country long enough as to what is/will be.

I welcome the day of total economic collapse....then we can break this once great nation into provinces/countries of like-minded people.

I know this may sound farfetched...but...EVERY great empire in history has fell/failed over time...America is due.

Larry, thanks for posting...some of us are doing what we can to stop the legistlation while the lemmings of the world sit on their lazy backsides and let the cards fall where they may.

Today's lunch conversation

I had lunch with a friend I hadn't seen for about10 years. I brought up the HSUS/PETA thing to her and she said "Don't worry about it - y'all can turn around anything they do." When I explained the HSUA/PETA goal she said 'Oh, by then there won't BE anymore pets." She's an intelligent person - but like MOST of the general public she has no idea what's going on regarding this situation. She asked me to email her and her father all the info about this because even though they don't own animals they do not agree with the AR plans. But before we had this discussion today - she thought HSUS/PETA were benevolent organizations. We need to educate the voting public AND the legislators.

You would be amazed at the people who truly think that HSUS and PETA are organizations whose efforts should be extolled far and wide. I have a neighbour who stated " I agree with a lot of the PETA ideas" she did until I told her exactly what their MO is and urged her to check out the info on the websites. She has since changed her tune.

YOU ARE RIGHT ,BUT WHERE I SEE THE PROBLEM IS WE NEED TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ON WHERE THEIR BREAD AND BUTTER COME FROM,I KNOW AND HAVE HEARD PEOPLE THAT DONT KNOW WHERE THEIR MEAT COMES FROM AND DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT HOW THE ECO SYSTEM WORKS,BUT WILL BE THE FIRST TO CRY WHEN THERE CITY AND PARKS ARE OVER RUN WITH RABBID COON AND THEY HAVE NO WAY TO CONTROLE THESE THINGS,THEY WILL SEE THEIR POLICE FORCE DONT HAVE TIME TO GO AND SHOOT A RABBID COON OR WHAT HAVE YA,ITS NOT WHO WE PUT IN OFFICE,ITS EDUCATION OF THESE PEOPLE AND HAVING AGRICULTURE AND THE ECO-SYSTEM CLASSES IN OUR MAJOR CITIES,SO PEOPLE REILIZE WE ARE HELPING THEM NOT HENDERING THEM.NOT ONLY THIS BUT WHEN THEIR AUTO INSURANCE SKY ROCKETS FROM CAR DEER WHO THEY GOING TO GET TO THIN DOWN THE DEER.REP,S OR DEM, IT DONT MATTER WHO IS OFFICE ,THEIR JUST FIGURE HEADS ANY WAY ITS THE LEGISLATORS THAT PUSH FOR THESE STUPID THING AND THEIR LOBBYIST. I have to respectfully disagree. The increased activity with the anti's is a direct result of them feeling they have the support of the democratic controlled Congress and an anti supporting President. There has been more widespread activity since the election, and I suspect it will continue.

I know for a fact that our Senator Levin. Does not support sportsmen. I have several letters from him that state that fact.

The next 4 years are going to be pivotal to sportsmen and our outdoor lifestyle.
