I got a buddy that has a pen, but he dont let any one but us hunt it. But there good to start a pup in as long as you hunt it every night and only 1 night a week in the pen, or maybe even less if you have plenty of coons.
Bill Stewart will run your dog both in his pen and in the wild. I think he charges $250 a month. Look up his number, he lives in Xenia, IL. This pen was built by Mike Harrell before he passed away to run young dogs in. I think Bill is doing right. He runs the dogs in there after dark, so they don't learn to tree by sight, then he also runs them in the wild.
According to whitepages.com, Bill's number is 618-678-2278. Call and see if he has any openings.
thanks for replies any more starting pens
