Sorry this is way off topic. I just bought a "new" car. 1979 Ford Pinto, dont laugh. Its a clean little ride!!!

Just thought Id open the door for the comments that I know are on the way

Oh...I feel OLD!

My first car was that color! Didn't shine so nice though! LOL! It was a Toyota Corona wagon... died a PAINFUL death with about 400000miles on it... when someone drove into the side of it with my sister and her infant...they were FINE..but my old car died... I had given it to my sister when I bought my first truck.... AHhhh... the good OLD days....

SOMEONE took GOOD care of that pinto! Sure is UGLY still....LOL... have fun, HappyDriving, Heather

Yeah I found a good one, 38k miles, one owner garage kept (except the back end) original paint, orginal interior. Nothing at all wrong with the car. and he gave me all of the spare parts he has been buying over the years. Including the air conditioner

Not a bad deal for 1,500. I was looking for a work car and happened on this little baby

My mom has always said if she wins the lotto she's buying another Pinto. She had one when I was little!!!! Looks like its in real good shape.

At first i had to chuckle.....then thought about the economy and how much less you are going to spend on gas then i am with my 4x4 truck....and how much less you will be spending than i am on my truck payment....maybe i'm the dummy???

Looks to be in great shape yet..good luck with it.

blair, I was feeling the 15 MPG that the dodge gets so that is the only reason I even got a car. But now there both paid off, thank GOD

I believe it was the Ford Fiesta that had gas tank problems when rearended. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
