Florida-- Hard Freeze

Florida is suppose to get below freezing again tonight and thier warning people to put thier pets inside and bundle up. When its 30 here, I drop down to a sweat shirt. LOL And my hounds put up with below 0 alot during the winter months. Can tell some states dont know how to deal with cold weather. Where having 30's here all week since Nov. Im looking forward to are 30 degree freeze. LOL

it is funny.. we went down there last December. they had a couple days that where around 60 degrees while we where there. i was wearing shorts soaking up the heat and they where all bundled up like it was 50 below. i guess it is just what you get used to..LOL

Ya we get a whole week or two a year old cold weather. This year is really bad we are gonna get three or four weeks. Keep on laughing I will be riding my bike and getting a tan while you guys are still shoveling snow by the foot. Seriously it is like anything else your body gets use to certain temps and anything less than that seems cold. It is all relative.

Yea it is all what you are used too. I don`t care much for hunting under 30 unless it is competition, but I don`t mind hunting with all these briar thickets, big swamps, while swatting tons of mosquitoes, and wading through water while Cotton mouths are striking at me. Also most creeks we wade in it is not a big deal to see a set of gator eyes 30 feet or so up the creek. The other night we had a bear come down on us at the tree while we were trying to get these stupid dogs away from there. I love it!

It does matter where you live. We went to California some years back in January and we get off the plane in t-shirt and shorts ready for a vacation. To our suprise every one was bundled up and it was 65 degrees out. lol We loved it they thought we were on some thing half dressed lol. But when we started talking they knew we were from Minnesota. Yep you betcha lol

BRRR! That is VERY cold for you guys down there! We are at about 5 degrees and yes, we're very cold... but we ARE used to it....

THoughts and Prayers your way... it is very tough on nature, crops and people...especially the elderly! Be sure to check in on any elderly or ill people you know to be sure they are ok!

Here is to warmer days ahead SOON! Heather

Cold

Down in the 20s here this morning, right on the Fla Line, ice in all the back water slues and standing mud holes.
one thing about it you dont have to worry about old shakey tail on nights like this
