Kennel Flooring

Im going to build an above ground kennel when every thing thaws out. Need some ideas for flooring other than wood. Thanks for the help.

Flat expanded metal ... can't beat it . It will last forever and if you space the bracing out some it has some bounce to it which I would think is easier on their feet .

Do a search or have josh send you pics of his kennel and the material he used. For an above ground kennel I think that stuff is the way to go.

i dont think the expanded metal would be very good in the winter.seems like it would be very cold on there feet.

TRY AND FIND SOME ORANGE HOG FLOORING, IT IS HEAVY GAGED WIRE THAT IS COATED. I HAVE ONE DOG PEN FLOOR MADE OUT OF THIS AND IT WORKS GREAT EASY TO CLEAN.

I agree on the hog flooring it is rubber coated and works very good

I think this is what MANIAC is talking about. If it is I would like to know where he gets it for $7. This is $18.95 per 2'x4' section.

have a good sturdy wire floor then cover it with the rubber matts that go in Horse Trailers. Easiest stuff ever to clean with water hose.

this is it. this is what they use for duck houses. we call it duck flooring.

Kody, there is a place just west of Dubuque where I ordered mine from and I believe it is FarmTek.
