After a long winter drag ol' shep outa the kennel and come put him/her on the bench. Good people, Good Food, and A Good time!

Amherst

I am not showing anything (that I am aware of) but hope to come and BS for awhile. Last year there was a real poor showing. 1 dog if I remember right. Years ago the Winter Bench shows used to have alot of participation but it seems that they have backed down some. Hope there is some attendance as The Amherst club has a nice location and they always have a nice lunch.

one of the problems is that mindoro has a show the same day..i cant figure out why one of the clubs dont give i and change dates...ive been to mindoro the last few years (15 miles from my house)and they have had 10 - 20 dogs..

Show is this weekend! Sure hope we have more dogs show up than last year. I know no matter how many dogs show up the girls will still have a great lunch and it will still be a great B/S sesion.

I know we usta run all over the place to the winter show's & there was a pile of dog's in all of them to. Not like now-a-days where hardly any show up.

Why? No idea I guess. Different crowd for the most part & lack of enthusiasm.

I enjoy goin to them as much as anyone & try to the best I can. Why would two club's have a winter show on the same date when there is the whole winter to pick from? Just need's to be worked out I guess. Be in the best interest of both club's to try to up the participation.

When cabin fever/dang gum winter keep's ya bored & plump(speakin for myself on this one) there is no better thing to do as addicted coonhound fanatic's than to go to a gathering or a meeting of the mind's if'n you will with a hound or 6 along......

I know personally I look forward to seein any & everyone that's there & there are plenty of good lookin hound's that would probably enjoy the ride themselve's ??

Can't win if'n ya don't enter but if'n ya do & don't win at least ya tried. Not the end of the world & you might be pleasantly surprised at the outcome

!!

We need to support these club's & their event's if we want to keep havin place's to enter up so bring "Ol Crusty","Shep", "Wheeler", "Spot", "Old Dan & "Lil Ann" & let's not forget "Blue" & enjoy the day & the comaraderie if nothing else as a thank you to the club's for givin any & all the opportunity to give your hound a chance to accomplish title's.

Our club banquet is that evening & it's a ride otherwise I promise you we'd be up there with a string...........................

Results

We had a total of 6 dogs in the show.

Registered males- 1 english and 1 walker
Registered females- 2 walkers and one bluetick
Champion male- 1 walker

Show male- PR Sweats Destroyer
Owner/handler: Allan Behm

Show female- PR Cedar Brooke Sonic Jewel
owner/Handler: Keith Doering

Champion Male- Ch PR Jacks Knukle Buster
Owner/Handler: Jerry Trzebiatowski
