Some GOOD People

Well you read about a lot of people who shoot dogs or whatever...

Well tonight I was out hunting with an old buddy of mine. We were hunting a river bottom we hunt all the time. We made 2 den trees already and decided to cut loose a third time. Well turns out dogs got out real deep near a highway.

Both dogs got up on the bridge of the pretty busy highway... turns out by the time I get up there, 2 younger couples had my dog. They saw our dogs on the bridge and as my friend's came back to us, they gathered my dog up and took care of her until I got there. It's nice to know there's some GOOD people out there that appreciate dogs!!!

So to whoever helped me out, if you read this, or know the people that helped me... THANK YOU again!

Nice! Never had that happen before, I would have been worried that they would have stolen them. There's still some honest people around though.

God Bless them!

I've had dogs and horses saved by good people in the past. They have a special place in our hearts! I've done my best to help out in situations like this and Good people appreciate the help.
On another note we had a local foxhound club member act Snobbish when we went to help them with a lost hound! We were stunned. They thought we were not "good enough" to be able to handle a hound! LOL... Bob grew up IN that hunt club riding on many a fox hunt and handling many hounds... his step father had been the Master of Hounds. Thankfully the next time they came thru hunting there was a different person acting as a "whipper in"... and we were able to help on our road.... I don't understand the snobby thing... I guess I'm just saying I find it weird to think there are Bad people of any sort... we should ALL be like those nice people who helped you all.....

Glad to hear about the good stuff!

It’s nice to know there are people that still care for one another. I’m glad to here that you got your dog back safe and sound.
