not really, but they will always come in when you DONT want them to.
If you have a buddy that has a female in season you can see if you can kennel them next to each other for a while. All of the females i used to have would come in about the same time, once one came in the others would soon follow. And i would swear that our male brought our female in early. They stay together and she came in about 2 mos early. We had to split them as soon as he started messing with her, because he otherwise leaves her alone.

She has some pills that make the dog come in when you want them to. I have used them many times to get pups with the birthdays that I want, they tend to work better on older females rather than younger females in my opinion but I have had pretty good results when I have used them. They don't work on all dogs but every dog is different. Just give her a call. I think they cost about $60 dollars.
