Table Rock Flying Hawk

I am tring to put together some information on the history of Table Rock Flying Hawk. I am looking for anyone who knew Tom Hayhurst from Lampey Missouri who may have owned Flying Hawk along with Raymond Lassiter. Any information would be helpful.

Hawk

Tommy Hayhurst did not won "Old Hawk" with Dad.
Junior Biggerstaff and dad went to Ada,Okla. and bought him from Buel Bowerman in Feb. of "1966".
Tommy was a brother -in-law to Junior Biggerstaff and only lived about 2 miles from him. Tommy never hunted in a hunt in his life but he pleasure hunted a lot with us.
If you go back to page 15 or 16 on this board and pull up the tread "Table Rock Mundo Jr." There is some history on "Hawk", he was "Jrs" grandsire.
You can call me at 417-337-4300-cell/ or 870-749-2831-home/ or 417-334-6914-work.

Thanks for being interested!

The problem is now days, no one knows who "Dual Gr. Ch." Table Rock Flying Hawk" really was and what his name means to the Treeing Walker Breed.

I remember his name. Never hunted with him, but have hunted with Table Rock Spot.

Junior

Really enjoyed reading the article in the Coonhound Bloodlines this month. Many people do not know that much about Table Rock Flying Hawk or Table Rock Mundo Jr. Glad to see that they are getting the recognition they deserve. Truly two great hounds that has helped the breed in so many ways. A lot of the newer folks probably do not know much or anything about either dog. Take care and hope to see ya down the road!

Hawk

Thanks Don I lost all my mag. in our house fire Jan. 1987.
Those adds bring back lots of memorys of some good honest coon hounds that could get it done right.
They never made a hound that could take a bad track, make it run, then drive it harder than those hounds then have a coon when you walked to them.
Yes, Dual Gr. Ch. Table Rock Spot was the same thing.
Thanks Guys !

You are welcome Junior. Just ran across the ad on Hawk introducing him to the public. My office is out of shape right now with remodeling but hopefully I can get it back together in the next couple of weeks and get this ad up for you.

Junior I have alot of the Table Rock blood in my dogs it shows in 4th 5th & 6th generations. I really like it. Most is through White River Rick & Morgan's TreeJamin Mundar. I use it on Big Game in Idaho. Here are a few pictures for you. Mark

I think one thing we forget was when "Hawk" and hounds from his day earned their titles, hunts they did it in 3 hr. hunts, big differance .
Show dogs showed males and females together in Ch. class and Gr.Ch. class..
