hound dawg pet peeves!!
ok, just figured this might give everyone something to do!! heres the question........ what does your hound do or any hound do that drives you absolutely nuts??
Eat their own poop.
i cant stand a dog that will hunt close to you and when another dog opens up way in there deep, the dog will take off to the struck dog runnin 90 mph to get in on the action!!
i also hate one that when you cut a few of em loose, thers always one that will get out ahead and then turn around and see how far the other ones are behind or what direction they went!

I hate when my Black Dog gets Treed and one of those Dam walkers about runs over me trying to get to the tree. LOL!!! I also just bought a new dog about a momth ago. I have 3000 trees on my property and that dog has cocked his leg on everyone. !!!!!!!!! I also hate when I go out to feed them and they hop on the kennel door and it comes back and knockes my hat off everytime!! I don't know if these dogs are worth all the agravation!!!!!!!!!!

I JUST PLAIN OUT HATE DOGS, HECK I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY I COON HUNT. I HATE ONE THAT OPENS TOO MUCH ON TRACK, ONE THAT BARKS TOO MUCH IN THE PEN, ONE THAT DOESNT CHECK IN AND YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR THEM, ONE THAT ISNT CONSISENT, HECK I OWN ONE OF EACH OF THESE DOGS LOL.

my pet peeve is a dog that go's 2 miles to get treed when i know there has to be a coon a lot closer than that. dont mind it if they struck it right here and run it that far but go that far to look for it is b/s

My game is YOUNG DOGS and they drive me crazy. Just get past goofy and it's time for a new one.
I hunted a dog through one season..... that would NOT go hunting by himself. If you walked in, he would strike a track, tree, and have a coon. But would hardly get out from under youre feet. This is the part that never made sense, if you turned him loose with another dog, he would split tree 80 percent of the time, most of the time in the other direction, and would go as far as needed.
He's buried in the back yard now... next to the deer runnning beagles, the ones I could catch anyhow.
