Looking for advise on boots/froglegs??????

I'm needing a new pair of boots with chaps. I am extremely hard on boots and go through a pair or more in a year. Looking for some opinions on what people think are the best boots out there with comfort and durability. I've gone through a ton of LaCrosse Grange boots. They all seem to crack in the heels for me after about 6 months. I have had one pair of mucks and I wore the inside of the heel out in them in about 3 wks.

Any info on other boots, chaps and dealers that carry them????????????

Thanks

Rocky brand is my 1st and only choice. I have had a pair that I wore for over 7 years and just replaced them with another pair of Rocky's. A good place to look for a good deal on boots is the Sportsmans Guide. An online outdoor hunting catalog, have bought many items and always been happy..

Thanks. That's the kind of info I'm looking for. I haven't heard of the those stalkers I'll check them out. Thanks again.

Corey, I got mine from Tim's and am very happy with them. I got a insulated boot and the heavy chap, Talk to Mary, mine were made to fit because I'm not real long legged.

Did you get the starkers or alfa lite. Aren't the insulated really hot during the summer?

Has anyone tried the LaCrosse ZXT black boots?

Give Hank Purvis at Purvis Outdoors a call. He carries muck boots with the Dan's chaps and they are super tough. I hunt in the swamps and bays of southeastern North Carolina and they hold up well for me. Hank is a good person to deal with and sells quality products at a woking man's price. He can ship anywhere in the US. You can reach Hank at 910-385-6177.

Corey I have the ZXT. Yes they are plenty warm in the summer, but I would rather be too warm in the summer than too cold in the winter.
