Dumb Question

This has been happening alot lately and have had different results.

4 dogs cast........no dogs barking for a while so we start walking the direction we think they went. After walking for awhile we all hear the dogs all treed together way off in the distance. As a handler what should you do? As a Judge what should be done?

Two ways you can handle it. You have a calling contest or split the tree points and go score it.
Nine times out of ten someone will tree their dog before the others do and you just go from there.

Only fair way is to split STRIKE points of all dogs opening and split tree points of each dog declared treed in this situation .
