-- Best Light ? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=244335)
Best Light ?
Getting a new light soon. What do Ya'll recommend?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
Well depends on your hunting stlye. If you hunt every night and dont do a bunch of walking Id get a sunburst eagle 2+2. If you wanted a dependable lite bright and durable light Id get a bright eyes belt light. All belt lights are made the same basically. Pro lite moonshiner or k light are all nice lights just depends on what you like. Some cost more than others and some have longer warranties.

I've got a 20 volt belt light from valley creek. Very bright and has lots of burn time. I got the 235.00 package but told them to keep the bump cap so I got it for 225.00. Good deal sure do like it.

K-light is the best and also makes all or part of some of the other lights mentioned.
Bruce Conkey sells K-lights and will treat you right.

I really love the Lite Connection lights.
Made locally here in Tennessee (unless rumors of him selling his business are true).
100% quality product and components made by a quality individual.
I have had my 28 volt belt light for several years, tough, bright and dependable. One charge will have you hunting for a week or two and it's very light weight.

Coonbuster makes the best light. I have had them for almost 20 years and they have stood up to everything
go to purvis outdoors for the best lights.

Have been using coonbuster lights now for 9 years, they are VERY VERY tough and DEPENDABLE. The 21 Volt Belt Light or the Super Lite 21 Volt Box light are VERY tought to beat for the price!

Don't buy a Bandit!!!
I use a Bandit belt light 21 or 22 volt now...complete waste of money!!! I have had to replace the battery pack and the light isn't even a year old. I have had to resolder the wires back in place as well. I called Bandit to send it back to them to get it repaired on 2 different occasions and the guy didn't even want to talk to me about it. The third repair I just had it fixed by a guy that works on them in my home town. Didn't even try and fool with Bandit on that one. I have heard others say he done them right, but he sure didn't want to fix my light. It will be 1 year old in Feb.
My 2 Cajun box lights that were predecessors to this Bandit were awesome lights...no problems out of either one. Both would last through 2-3 nights of hard hunting without charging.
My next light is going to be a Balzer Super 21 with the LED head. I have seen some in a couple of hunts and man they are BBRRIIGGHHTT!!! They are a little pricey, but I'm going to give them a shot. http://www.blazerlightandsupply.com/
