Whale Wars (off topic)

Has anyone watched this show on Animal Planet (I think that's the channel)? I don't really care to see the whales killed either but these wacko's throw different substances onto the whaling ships. Some stink, some make it slippery, they throw big ropes into the water infront of the ships to get tangled and ruin the prop, they even jump aboard the ships and then the remaining crew calls the media and say they are being held hostage. I really can't believe how pschyo these people really are. Where do they find these wack jobs?

These same folks are the ones that would let the air out of your tires while you are in the woods hunting....if they decided to take up the cause of coon...instead of whales.

I heard of a group of women that would go to the state forest where deer hunters were known to hunt. They would run all over the woods relieving themselves(Urinating) so the deer would get there scent and take off out of there. I hope this dont turn any of you guys that dont hunt into deer hunters.LOL

I think the people on that tv show... are targeting Japanese ships that are hunting on... illegal grounds? I think that's the case.

Either way, I can't stand to see that show. Watched a couple of them, and all I do is rant and complain. They are nothing more than terrorists who should be using all the money they have into playing ship, to feed starving children.

I've watched a couple times too, these people say whales are more valuable than human life...Then why did God create animals to feed humans?? I believe animals that are endangered should be protected, but not in the way these people are going about it. The guy that heads this group is the former founder of Green Peace..until the board of Green Peace ousted him on his butt for acts like he is currenlty performing. I guess he didn't learn the first time huh?? "We the people" I think should be turned to "We the meat eating people"...LOL

GOOD FOR THE BUNNY HUGGERS. LET THEM DONATE ALL THEY CAN TO THOSE IDIOTS RIDING AROUND BURNING FUEL AND WHEN THEY DO FINALLY ACTUALLY SEE A SHIP OUT THERE, IT IS A SPY SHIP FOR THE WHALING FLEET, BEING THE REASON THEY CAN'T EVEN FIND THEM MOST OF THE TIME. A COMPLETE waste of time and money. They say they are going to attack the whaler ship.There are a number of things they do.I don't understand how it is legal to do what they are doing. I could think of more honorable things to do with the time and money that they use to do that. It's sickening.

They are targetting Jananese ships around Australia but from what the commentator stated during the show that legal experts claim they (the whalers) are well within the law. The only people saying they are breaking the law are the crew members of the Sea Shepard. I did notice the Captain of the ship NEVER puts himself in harms way but has his idiot follows do his dirty work.

I have watched this show and yes what idiots !! i fully expect the Jap ships at some point to start shooting at the piracy type of tactics that they employ. For all the Japs know they are boarding the ship to place a bomb on it to sink the ship. I would shoot any one or any rubber boat trying to board after sabotage tactics have been employed against my ship by these idiots.

Never felt the need to watch it. From the get go it had bunny butt kisser written ALL over it. I have no time for people like this and don't even waste my time watching this crap. You know, they are getting good rating from people like you guys that just tune in to see whats going on, I say, stay away and don't even give them the time of day. I'm not giving them my TV time, thats for sure! I like Predator Hunt and the Hunting Channel, now thats TV. Got to watch them mountain lion hunting in MT with dogs last night. Them ole English and Black Mouth Curs treed 2 nice kitty cats, wish I could have been able to watch the whole hunt, instead of just the highlights.
