Looking for a hunting buddy in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hil, NC area

Anybody live close to the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area and want to help a greenhorn get going in the fine sport of coon hunting? I know an education ain't cheap and I don't have much to offer in return other than the promise to be an eager pupil and to help out others when I have a bit more experience.

I have a couple of young dogs that have been started, but we could all use some more time around seasoned veterans. I know the holiday season is upon us and things are busy this time of year, so I was thinking about after the first of the year--sooner if anyone has time. I would be happy to drive and/or provide gas money for anyone willing to help a rookie get his dogs some time in the woods.

I don't think I can make it that way until after the holidays, but I am definitely interested in learning how to handle hounds in the mountains as well. I will get in touch with you after the first of the year. Thanks again, and happy holidays.
