going back to tree
There was a thread on here a bit ago about dogs going back to the tree.... if someone could show me where it is I would appericiate it.
If not..........
My Nitch female..... once she trees in an area, you gotta move her to another area, like over 400 yds away, or she will go back. I don't really want to whip her, or shock her for going back to a COON Tree, but it sucks when you are hunting and hate to go back to the truck everytime you tree!

Aint no other way to do it..Your gonna have to whip her or shock or both..You cant talk one out of going back..Some are harder to break than others.Better off for them to learn this while they are still young dogs.
I agree 100%. Dogs are smart. They know the difference between a fresh tree and a tree thats already been covered. Next time you pull her off a tree let your buddy take her with him bout 75-80 yards and cut her back loose while you wait at the tree with a small limb thats still got leaves or a keen switch. I wouldnt start off too harsh. When she comes back to the tree, dont let her on it. Try to run her off. If she comes close enough, pop her with that switch. If she continues, then you may wanna get a little rougher with her. You wont ruin her.
