RQE's during winter

Does anyone have them during the Winter months? I think it would be good to have some during the winter months. I would think UKC could come up with some idea where they could add a few if clubs wanted to have some through the winter months. Right now would be a very good time to have a RQE I believe it would weed out these slam and jam dogs that get qualified when the leaves are on. I've been on the slam and jam side myself, some times you win some you don't. lol

There are a lot of RQEs here in the south in the winter.

That is nice but what about the northern states, anyone else have them during the winter. Marshal, Mo has one when its starts to get cold. Theirs is usually a good hunt with a great turn out even though it was really cold last year the hunting was good, didn't get to attend this year maybe next year.

there is one in march in ohio and last year it snowed and terrible weather for it. they still had a few for the show and hunt. that is a chance you take that time of year in ohio.

Wanamingo MN has one in March. In MN, the weather can do anything that time of year. No leaves on here until the end of April anyway.

Some of these places you guys are talking about still have 50- 60 degree weather right now.We are even having a day here and there where it hits 40's. Thats not what we consider winter. lol
I'm talking in the teens or single digits with a possiblity of snow and Ice. Our high for Sunday they are saying will be 50 and the low 15 thats is going to be a temp swing, our normal temps for this time of year are high 20's-30's and low's in the teens. I know I couldn't handle Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan or any of the states with similiar winter weather and I highly doubt my dog could either. Little too cold for us. lol

Ace Coon club Martinsville, Indiana is hosting a rqe in March 2009. Leaves will still be off then.
