Another good one gone!

A few days ago, when I went out to tend the dogs, found SCH Stylish Hit Man had gone to sleep the night before, and he died curled up in his dog house.

Hit Man was not bred a lot, but I feel for certain that he will leave his mark....

Rest in peace my friend....

I'll miss the ole bugger, but he was 12 years old!

I've got some pups...but they don't make any more bred like him!

Just keep shoving that "good old stuff" another generation back.....

That is an impressive pedigree. I remember back in the late 80's it didn't seem like you could go to a big hunt where Stylish Little Man didn't win or finish towards the top. I never got to hunt with him but never heard a bad word about him. Enjoy all the memories from your hound.

Sorry to here about ol' Hitman Joe. I know you got a kennel full of up & comers, some outta Hitman. I think his last year or so was good, one he probably bred more females since you had him then prior.

His last night out, he treed three coon and made the other dogs look like fools doing it.

He sure wasn't the dog he used to be, but he never lost sight of his one job in life...treeing coon.

I'm rounding up young males sired by him.....I'm sure there is a replacement for him out there. The ones I have are really young yet....

Thats too bad that he doesn't have more pups on the ground then he does since the number of stud dogs direct out of clover is getting slim but we did breed a good female to Hitman this is what the papers look like hopefully he can carry on his dads legacy

Man, I wish I would have been able to get down there a couple of weeks ago, I was gonna ask to see him go. I missed out on one night in the woods, but I bet there are some out there who missed out on a great stud dog.

So Sorry For Your Loss

We are suckers for the older ones here... and when You have older ones and lose them... the loss is still BIG. Glad you have some offspring to carry his blood on. He is still in your hearts and always will be.

Sincerely sorry, Heather and Bob

Sorry for your lost Joe. The great ones can never completely be replaced. Hope you have a bunch a pups around the farm, because pups are like a painting. When their creator is gone they become worth that much more. All of us over look the great ones and then one day it is to late. Good luck with his offspring. Like everyone else, wish I had one.
