Hey Mark

Nice picture's !!!!

Paster Mike and I hunted with Shaker a few time's this fall. He is a very nice coon dawg. By the look's he has a good start on lion's.
Keep on keeping the V in hard treed dawg's.

Great pictures

Great pictures, it's the next best thing to being there.

Hey Mark, sorry I missed your call yesterday, I was looking forward to hearing how it all went. It sounds like Shaker took to lions OK and is getting with the program. He is a top hound for coons and now that he's getting after lions and looking good, he'll be fun to work with all year round...

I'll look forward to visiting with you soon.

I see Shaker had no problems taking to the lions. I figured he wouldn't have any problems at all. It was a good feeling to see Cash and Bo put it together. I am looking forward to hunting with you soon.

Great stuff...

Hey Mark, you've got some great photos and the video is really good too. It looks like Homer was able to make a race even at 5 months old...it won't be long and he'll be getting with the program full time. By next season, he'll be grown enough to keep up with any situation and I'd bet he'll be hanging tough on every race by then.

It also looks like Shaker has taken a liking to the cats so he'll be an all around hound just like what you're used to having around. I'll look forward to more from this season...it sure helps the time go by being able to watch some good Red dogs work while we're frozen in and snow bound waiting for the coons in Wisconsin to start moving again.

I sure enjoy keeping up with all this.

3 lions

we had a great day today. my pal kevin and myself got called out to catch a cat on a ranch that the owner wanted out of there. we got there after a big snow and had no track so we turned out the dogs just for the hell of it. boomer billy shaker shelly belle and sage, they all blew up chasin each others butts and over the hill they went boomer fell behind not sayin much then all was quite 5 dogs had crossed the road with no track in sight so we thought they were trashin got the tracker out and it showed boomer treed went to him and he had the cat the land owners were talked out of shooting this female and we went back to the truck feeling mad that the other dogs didnt make the tree we got the tracker out and showed shaker and shelly a few miles up the road got there and they were treed across the river we waded it and they had there cat the water was cold.kevin picked the deepest place to cross and I had to follow him incase he fell in . kevin forgot my camera in the truck on this one. back to the truck and down the road about 5 miles and after along walk we found billy belle and sage treed with another cat a great day.

I left a little food in the fridge. Mark forgot to mention that he just woke up from a nap right before the picture was taken. We found a kitten that someone had dumped off about 30 miles from town and picked him up. He got to ride in the cab with us while we looked for tracks. I was going to bring it home and take it to my buddy's barn to live with the other barn cats but Mark got the bright idea that he should show his daughter. She fell in love with that cat the second she saw it. Me being the nice guy that I am decided to let her have it. Besides I don't need a broken hearted little girl on my concious. He sure used some choice words to thank me. I'm sure he will find some way to pay back the favor.
