minature in heat

what do people with minature dashound or small dogs do when they start to come in season? diaper or any suggestions. my daufghter got one and keeps here. they get too clod outside. thought about locking her in bathroom. does anyone have any suggestions

we used to have a weiner dog and when she came in heat we put her leash under a chair leg in the kitchen so she was on the tile floor. its easier to clean up that way. those diaper things get ripped off. the dog wont leave it on.

my wifes weiner dog isw in heat right now she got a thing that adjust that holds a pad it wont fall or come off with out you taking it off

Good luck with the diaper or pants! My Mini Dachshund wont keep hers on. I just deal with it. Thankfully she's so small that she doesnt bleed much. Just all part of having her as a pet. She's almost 5, so I'm pretty much used to it. I just bred her in her last heat. My luck her next heat she will bleed like a stuck hog..lol.

thanks, we only have a spot every other day but she is only 8 mths old and spoiled. my wife said she would never have a dog inside but this mini stole her heart. they are so amart. she barks at the door for potty. lol

my wife uses the diaper method we normally breed them every other cycle if anyone is looking for a stud dog or pups let me know i know a guy that bred to our male that has 2 for sale they are black and tan
