Took Wyatt On His First Hunt...

I've been watching my 2 nephews this week while their parents are out of town. I had planned one taking the older one(2 1/2 years) on his first coonhunt but its tooooooooooooooooo cold. LOL So I left work early today and called 1mule(AKA 2mules) and set up the hunt.

We hit the woods around 3pm and Petey was treed in short time. 2Mules headed into the tree and my and my nephew brought up the rear.... 2Mules rolled them out with one shot each with MY rifle that I had SHOT and SHOT and SHOT at one the other day... HMMMMMMMMMM????? Wonder what that means?????? We made a couple more trees but they were all dens. We were back at the truck by 4:30pm The Lil Man said he was COLD. LOL

When we made it back home we had fried squirrel,squirrel gravy and bisquits.

Nice pics. Looks like the Lil guy had a ball. Nice job !

P.S. - My grandson is pestering me to take him squirrel hunting with dogs again. We did it a couple years ago , and he had a ball.

Great pix and a great read...LOVE to see Wyatt with you, you are such a cool uncle! Bob loved the picture of Wyatt and Petie looking up together.... We thought the squirrel looked good.
Hope you Next Hunt with Wyatt is just as good or better!
