Great Northern Shoot Out

I AM CONSIDERING VERY STRONG ON HOSTING A 16 DOG HUNT WITH A 100% PAY BACK. 100 .00 ENTRY, 1000.00 1ST ,300 2ND, 200 3RD, AND 100 FOR 4TH. ALONG WITH BRAGGING RIGHTS.FOUR CAST WINNERS WOULD SHOOT IT OUT FOR THE 1600. ALL ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. WHAT DO YOU THINK???

PS RULES WOULD BE UKC RULES ALONG WITH A PROGRESSIVE TREE. AFTER 1 MIN 2ND TREE CLOSED AFTER 2 MIN 3RD TREE CLOSED, and their would be 4 cast winners regardless of score

ALSO WOULD BE OPEN FOR A DONATED PRIZE OR TWO

i am in south eastern north dakota. i am about 4 hours from sioux falls south dakota , and 4 and a half hours from mineapolis mn. got some of the best hunting from here to florida. all you have to do is win your cast. their will be a winner no matter the score.

Would UKC championship pts be awarded? If not, I don't see it taking off. I like your "out of the box" thinking behind the idea but I just don't see the point behind holding a nonsanctioned event basically using the format of what other registrys are already offering. I'm exploring something similar but under another registry.

donnie you would be more than welcome. this is not an invitational. when we would accept entries it would go by the post mark on the envelope. if you are one of the first 16, your in. if your not your not.no showes would have their entry already in the pot. non refundable ,unless you were one of the over 16. they would all be refunded .

Why would you want to close the tree early . do you want a dog to when that wont tree for 5 minutes???????

the tree is not closed early. but after 1 min you can't get 2nd tree you can only get 3rd and forth. .......... ever had your dog tree first , do all the work and then somthing comes sliding in there with 30 sec left on the five and still get 2nd tree. this eliminates that.

thats a very good idea but i dont see many ukc hunters paying 100 dollars heaven forbid they win 1600 but not a win toward nitech or grnite i will definately be interested just come up with the details
