...........

Amanda Alexander and Mike Seets.......................Lee Currens is not bad.................but, Curtis Elburn, in my opinion, always gets the most out of his hounds......and is really good at covering up faults.

Don't forget about Orb May, he's a heck of a hand at showing any type of dog.

Chirpie Birdsall, Kathy Shorter, Beth Snedegar, Mike Seets, Lee Currens, Johnny Brinkley, Wayne Steele, Melanie Hittson, Dale Young, Amy Thomas, Tony Ford, Charlie Botkins and Lonnie Mears.... these folks have been showing top quality dogs for a number of years and they all have Mayjor wins to their credit. You never see Chirpie or Charlie exhibit a hound that does not have a chance to win AO or the World. I have left out plenty of top names because my memory is terrible.

all the above mentioned

dont know how any show handler list could not include bob tully if anyone has finished more ch's than him i would be surprised.

Tully Has my Vote

Bob Tully has made more dogs Ch. than anyone I ever encountered in my 30 yrs. of coonhounds. Regardless of who owned the dog Bob just seems to bring the best out of them...

No one has said:

Jeff and Christina Farthing, Gerald Black, or Don and Vickie Hill.

If I'm not mistaken, Jeff and Christina and Gerald all had big write ups in August Bloodlines about showing dogs.

What about some Young people that are getting into showing?

Ashley Beaver, I got to meet her at Fines Creek last June. She shows a beautiful Walker named GRCH'PR'Black Golds First Lady

I have reds, so I tend to notice those handlers more - so I say Lori Mills and Katina Childers. Katina is showing our Priss at AO and the World and i'm honored she considers one of our dogs worthy of being on the other end of her lead at those two shows. Pat Kerr always does an impressive job with her own dogs but i've not yet seen her handle an "outside" dog so can't say how much is her handling expertise and how much is a: having chosen the right dog (a "natural") and b: extensive training. because when you ask who is the best "handler" - that to me means, who can take many different dogs and show them and get a good showing out of them even if they've only worked with the a short time.
