We are SO SORRY

So very sorry for your loss. Have followed some of your posts about your friend and know you really loved him.

HE lives on in your heart and he will greet you at the big old tree someday, long time from now, when you walk in to meet him.

Sincerely Sorry, Heather and Bob William

that's really too bad. I had a bad deal with my dual grand last winter. She ran away and went hunting during the first big snow of the year. finally the Humaine Society found her 5 days later and she was really weak and frost bitten. long story short. they thought i abused her and wouldn't let me have her back. they didn't understand what a hunting dog was. she was there for about a week. we finally got her home and the night i got back for Christmas break she died from some kind of bloating in her stomach.

Ed, my dad used to say I had to kiss them goodbye everytime I unsnapped them. It sure didn't make it any easier to swallow that lump in my throat when I found the best one I ever unsnapped on the side of the road.

Ed, I am sorry for your loss man, I can't say that enough. Keep hitting the woods man, losses like this make it tough to keep going, but do it!

hey man!!!

Ed you know he was the reason I started hunting agian he showed me coon on the first night we went and the last . The last night hunt he was in he got a first towards grand and did it with class!! Sorry for your loss I will miss him to .......

Posted by Dale Young on 11-07-2008 10:07 PM:

Sorry to hear about your dog Ed. We likely see as many if not more coon dead in the road here in Michigan than any where else I've ever traveled, unfortunately whatever the reason for that is the same thing puts our dogs at a greater risk here also.

Posted by ed esposti on 11-08-2008 07:12 PM:

Thanks everyone. I normally dont get to attached to dogs for this reason but i had him for quite awhile and spent many a night just him and I. He also was a pet to my kids who would let him loose and play with him.
He will be missed but the only thing you can do is move on and keep working the young dogs I have out of him.
Thanks Again.

Dang Ed Im sorry to hear that. He was a nice dog, he looked real good the night I drew him.

We should get out his fall and try to tree a couple in his memory. You guys still hitting the Chelsea area?
