dog food recall?

has anyone heard of a recent dog food recall

have heard a couple say that there is but i cant find anything about it

a local hunters dog is at the vets office now with Ecoli

he had been feeding Pedigree

any info would be great

I saw I the news a couple of days ago about a recall but it was in China, so I dont know if this would have any impact here......................Tim

ive searched the net but all results are 07'

i just got some more info on the dog at the vet
supposedly he took a sample of his feed to the vet to be tested
and it was positive for ecoli

YES, tainted dry dogfood

There was a recall approximately a month ago - dry dogfood containing possible ecoli.
I don't remember the brand names but DO know that Purina and Sportmix & Diamond were NOT on the list.
Pedigree MIGHT have been one on the list - but I only looked on the list for the brands I use & I DON'T use Pedigree.

tainted dogfood

skyblu was right about amonth ago pedigree was the main brand up to 14 brand names all made by same company have him check date on bag with bar code they may be able to tell by that it was a recall though
