Joe the plummer looks like he may
Joe looks like he will be the choice of mccain the be sec. of labor. He is on the trail with mccain. Now dont chuckle about this after all he did add palin to his ticket and she knows about as much as joe does. All this together show how off the wall mccain is.
Sounds to me like "Joe the Plumber" got a chance to ask Sen. Obama face to face questions, then got the opportunity to ask Sen. McCain the same question.....
Looks like we know who he believed...face to face, without the media telling him what to believe......

Gosh,
In my book, this is about the biggest endorsement for McCain that you can have.
We have a middle class American, who has a job, not because someone GAVE him a job, but because he want's to work and be a productive member of society.
He has dreams and aspirations, and one of his dreams is to work hard, and better himself in the process. He's willing to roll up his sleeves and do what it takes to be successful, just like the majority of folks in this great nation. He's not looking for a hand-out, he's not looking for the government to do anything for him but to protect him.
He gets a face to face meeting with Obama, and and a face to face meeting with McCain......and makes his choice based upon his freedom to vote, his freedom to choose, and his judgment of which candidate will represent HIS interest in the future.
Looks like he made his choice, and he had the benefit of being able to meet both candidates....lucky dude if you ask me.
In one of the posts that got lifted from this forum, someone asked, "where will they get the votes"....well, from all the Joe the Plumbers (and it's not spelled with two m's) in this country. From all of the hard working main stream Americans...
So you can spin if you like.....I think the fact that Joe the Plumber has found a place on the campaign trail with the McCain/Palin camp is a testament of his belief.

I was going to vote for McCain, that is until I watched the debate, John McCain, has Voted with President Bush 90% of the time, he said this in his own words, he wants to tax my employer provided health care as income, and is looking out for the Fat Cat CEOs and Executives. He will DESTROY THE MIDDLE CLASS AND DRIVE US INTO THE DEEPEST DEPRESSION IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is not for Joe the Plumber, he is for Joe, the CEO.
Im voting for OBama, and I dont care who dosnt like it.

joe the plumber, a political plant-propoganda tool... not much on either candidate or platform, just more of the same, both will move to the middle if elected... without question would have supported mccain, than he strarted to campaign, would have been better off to just stand-not run for the office... his solutions are great for the 20th century, but this is the 21st.. trickle down-supply side does not-will not work... believe that mccain will still favor the rich camp, Obama more in tune with working people-small business owners, the mccain health plan would reck havoc with health insurance, the Palin selection, not vetted-not ready, now on an indpependent mission to promote herself at the expense of the head of the ticket.... with all that said, still undecided, voted for Mccain in 2000 primary, but this is not that man, rather than the man who always dedicated his life to service, he has traded that for personal ambition, sad to see this happening, not sure until enter the booth, if mccain had stayed on message instead of using the very bush-rove tactics that ruined him in 2000, would be just one choice, but the Mccain and his campaign have made it a 2 horse race for me... important to vote, make the choice, key to a free society...
Tell me again what exactly Obama's plan is to help middle class citizens?

I am voting for several Republican's during our state and local elections......along with Obama / Biden for President and VP.............................Tim
I wish all of them up there was common working class people like Joe the plummer. All of those "career" politicians are the problem. JMO!
the Bush plan has already broke the nation and its people axcept for the select few at the very top of the wage pyramid, nothing left than for Obama to do if the plan is to make people ppor-GW has done, continues to do it... big brother is here, the bush led deal to bail out the fat cats, sudsidize big corporations, no contract bids, socialism in action-the target goup the rich, trickle down does not-will not work, except for the rich, the rest get tinkled on, if that is what trickle down means-it works-lo...
I'm not sure where you folks get your "facts".
I looked at my insurance coverage just this morning. I have an employer backed policy, where they pay part, and I pay part.
I'm not sure I "like" McCains plan, but here is the way it truly shakes out.
I pay lets say for the sake of argument, $100 a month into my insurance plan. What Sen. McCain is proposing, is taxing me on that $100 dollars a month, that previously would have been taken out of my gross pay before taxes. Therefore, over the course of a year, I don't pay taxes on that $1,200.00.
Now let's say I'm in the middle income tax bracket of 27%. That means that I would have to pay $324.00 on my $1,200.00. That's bad right?
NO!!!! Cause under the McCain plan...I get a TAX CREDIT...for $5,000.00. I can use that to buy any insurance I want, including the employer based plan that I'm currently on, and invest the rest in a health care account!
From my seat...looks like a much better deal than setting in a waiting room under a government managed single payer system like the Canadians have!

I cant believe people actually believe what obama is telling them. Obama is a senator of Ill. He has had three year to get one state right. Ill. is in the most debt of any of any other state over 44 billion. More people have been murdered in chicago that killed in Iraq. Ill. schools rank among the bottom 5. The unemployment rate is well over 10%. If obama cant control one state how can he lead a contry? There are 50 million americans better qualified to be president than he is. He has no experience with anything.

For one the media check out Joe, he's not even a lincesed plumber and he owes back taxes. He's along ways from buying a bussiness. They're all crooked, you can't tell me that they care about me or my family.
You just have to pic the lessor of 2 evils. As far as the gun thing, it takes more than 1 person to take them. As long as we support groups that protect our gun rights it will be very hard to get them. The more voices that we have the safer our guns are.
