Hickory nut harry

Has there ever , been a close relative to Hickory nut harry win a world hunt, AKC, UKC, NKC, ACHA, ? just wondering, Im talking about either A brother sister, son ,Daughter, Grand Daughter or great Grand daughter ?

Cutter placed 3rd in the '02 world, the year Gap won it. Thats the only son to Harry that I know of that got close. The Insane Jane female that won it is a Grand daughter to Harry. She is off of Stylish Rube, who is a full brother to Cutter. I hope you are asking about Stylish Hickory Nut Harry or I am telling you all wrong. lol

Ray, that is a good question. I will try to do a little research on it. Harry is the sire of Hardwood Bozo which you will find in a lot of dogs pedigree such as Coma, Ball's Stylish Harry, Hard Knockin Stylish Hayes, Ratt Attack, Logan's Wild Clover.

Since I have been away from the sport for 20 years I am still trying to get up to speed on what has happened the last 20 years.

With so many World Champions now it may take a while to come up with a good answer for you.

I do have a couple though for you.

1985 NKC World Ch. Dohoney's Mike was a grandson of Ball's Hickory Nut Harry twice.

1993 UKC World Ch. Tri Color Tom Tom would have been a Great, Great Grandson of Harry. Tom is a Great Grandson of Bozo.

I may have to agree with you. It seems like (just from working on this little project) most of the dogs that go back to Harry do it through Hardwood Bozo and Bozo's mother may have had a little bit in this. Melody Bill was a pretty nice hound.
