Master of Hounds in Knoxville, TN area

Howdy. I just moved to Powell (north of Knoxville) about 2 months ago. I was just letting everyone know that I am a UKC licensed Master of Hounds, and am willing to official your UKC hunts.

Please call me. I have noticed there are a few coming up in the Knoxville area. Right now I'm unemployed, so I'm free to come and help.

You can all Allen Gingerich in UKC's office if you want to check me out first. I have done lots of little hunts, and a few big ones.

Mike, I'm liking it alright. I'm still looking for a job, but the economy isn't getting much better. Been down here 2 months with no work.

I haven't got to hunt any yet. I've talked to a few people who hunt on the phone, but no one has taken me yet. Most of them say they'll call when they are going, but I haven't heard anything.

I got rid of the dog I was hunting when I moved, so at least I'm not hurting a dog by not going. Didn't figure I'd have too much time when I moved in Bible college and all. I hope to move back up to the midwest when my schooling is over and I will start hitting it hard again.

The area is nice though. A lot bigger than the metropolis of Flora. You'd think there would be jobs out there for a guy who's willing to work, just there are a lot of people willing to work...

Other than that I like it pretty good. Can't wait to be back in IL though. Nothing like it.

We are starting a new club up an RHEA county tennessee. . . . .that is about an hour away from Knoxville. . . . . We may call you to come up when we build some money up to pay you . . . . . till then a member is doing it for free and just not hunting

Sounds great just let me know. I'd like to go hunting with you anytime. I'm in college now here in Powell.

In Illinois they usually pay $30-$50 for gas, but I don't know if that is normal or not. Whatever you guys think. I wouldn't mind coming up and doing one for free if I can eat free. Lol! I like helping local clubs.
