I Got Him To Go!!!

Ladies, don't give up on getting your guy to go hunting with you!! Cause last night I got mine to go!! woohoo!! I went to my spot that has nice open woods to move around in, no briars or anything so he wouldn't be detered by that stuff. Course that spot also doesn't have the best coon population for some reason, and the coyotes have been moving in there and making the dogs all nervous. Well in we go, turn the dog loose, and this is only my second time taking her out. She wouldn't go too far, so we walked a little further in and she finally got gone some, but didn't find anything. So after a while she came back and we were gonna leave. As we were walking down the path to head out, she yanked on her leash so hard she almost knocked me over, ran plumb into him and almost knocked him over, and tried to drag me into the woods!! Well, apparantly we walked right across a track so I let her loose and she goes tearing down through the woods bawling every step of the way. So now my boyfriend was actually getting excited, she ran it for a while, but never did tree on it. I think she needs to be hunted with an older dog some yet. She's still got the stupids from having been in heat. But the important thing is that I think my boyfriend might come along more cause now he's excited and wants to see how she progresses!!

well, I also went to the grocery store last night and he had needed some odds and ends for his baling business, things I normally won't spend MY money on SO I got that stuff for him, and bought him dinner at McDonalds!! Plus he really likes this dog so that certaintly helps!
