i saw on here the other day that clover was once titled and now he isn't can someone shed some light on this.

Take this for what it is worth, I heard through the grape vine UKC stripped him of his title. I am not sure why but I heard it was over another dog hunting in his place. I don't know and that might all just be rumor mill at its best.

Stylish Clover(Whitey) was a Nite Ch with several wins towards grand nite.

He lost the first place win that made him a Nite Ch over a formal complaint that was filed.

The hunt report was put on as submitted with Whitey receiving a first. The formal complaint was ruled on in favor of the complainant(not Whitey) but the correction was ot made in the computer. The guy that really won, called in for a points check and our records did not show the 1st place win. The club file was checked, the formal complaint was found and the the first was removed from Whitey. The option to go back and get a registered first place, & still retain his Nite Ch wins, was extended to the guys but by that time Whitey was older and more valuable as a stud dog.

Some older papers will still show him as a NiteCh but anything newly transferred will not.

I had heard two different stories on the subject and neither was of fact... imagine that..... always said idle gossip and lies move about faster than the facts!!!!

It really doesn't matter, now, why or what happened to get his first place win stripped.. I have heard something about a dog hunting in his place.. Tank didn't say what the complaint was.. It could have been for that very reason, i really don't know or care. But if there was another dog hunting in his place how could you prove it?
