Asking for prayers...

Every now and again some of you will ask for prayers for friends and loved ones. I would like to do that now.

My cousin (she's 38) was told about 1 1/2-2 months ago that she has a brain tumor. It is not cancerous and can be removed. She is scheduled to have surgery this Thursday, August 14, in Chapel Hill, NC. She seems to be in good spirits, however she has been on anti-depressants since the docs told her. She has 3 kids, ages 11-19, a husband, and numerous other relatives who are worried and concerned for her and her family. I spoke to her last Friday after visiting w/ the surgeon, who is the head of neurosurgery, and she seems to be extremely confident in his abilities and appears comfortable with him. She was told that it would be a 3-4 hr surgery-6 max. She would spend 1-2 days in ICU and be home by Monday as long as they did not run into anything else or any problems.

I have opted not to go and sit and wait at the hospital, since her family and some of our aunts will be there and there is nothing I can do anyway. So, I am asking all you faithful, God-fearing people to add Rhonda Culbreth and her family to your prayer lists. There is power in numbers!

Thank you,
Cynthia Grooms

Thank you all

for remembering my cousin in your prayers. I will be in contact w/ her before and after and will be sure to let you guys/gals know the outcome. But with all the faith on this board, I already know the outcome!

Thank you again.
