Question
CAN YOU CARRY A NOTE BOOK IN THE FEILD AN KEEP SCORE ON IT ALONG WITH THE JUDGE
I am pretty sure that you can. I know that you can carry your own stop watch to keep track of the time, so why couldn't you carry a booklet to keep track of the scoring?
i was running in a w/q at grafton wv one year a guy frpm pa kept his own score also i run at champville one year another guy kept his too jb

re
i see nothing wrong with it. just carry a pad and note strikes, lines, and checks/recoveries down. but always keep in mind the judges card is final. if you have a problem with it, address it then and don't wait until you get back to clubhouse.

Why Not
I have seen this done many times, it helps the handler keep track. You as a handler can ask to see a scorecard at any time through the hunt also. Don't let judges intimidate you they are just applying the UKC rules to event, you as a handler have essentially the same right as the judge except the judge records the information on the card and has the authority to enforce the rules.
Notebooks should be no problem to anyone.
