State Race questions

Does anyone know what the awards are if you win High point in your state? Not talking about run off just 1st in points.
When is the state race over? When will runoff be held?

Vicky, Todd Morgan, told me that there would be a prize, or an award for the high point dog at the end, what it includes, don't know. Also the last day would be Dec. 31 of this year, with the run-off held sometime, before the nationals, probably late feb. or march. But this is just what I was told.

Awards for High Point dog in each state or region has not yet been determined.

The state races are run throughout the calendar year. January 1st - December 31st.

The state runoffs will most likely go off in February or March.

Another question I've been getting as of late is:

Who determines which clubs will be hosting the runoff for their state or region? UKC will decide which clubs will host the runoffs. If your club is interested in hosting the runoff please send a written request no later than November 1st, 2008 for consideration. Send your request to the United Kennel Club (Attention Allen) to be filed for review. All requests are appreciated and will be considered.

PS - Mike Carder: Mitch would come in real handy right now for sure. Actually, anyone with a little office "know how".

But we'll get through it and don't think for a minute the Beagle Program won't be back getting the attention and promotion it deserves! Hang in there. Meanwhile, thanks for your patience.
