Anybody Hunting Bluedogs In Iowa?

Would really like to talk to some folks hunting around Iowa with Bluedogs and get up for a hunt. Never been out that way but would like to try it. Just don't know where to go. Thanks

Iowa is a long way from Georgia...... what did you have in mind?

Posted by Rob on 06-28-2003 03:07 AM:

Why on earth would you?

Just like Bulkyker said, we're a long way from Georgia. Have quite a few Bluedogs in Iowa. Depending upon where you go, the coon population is very adequate to have fun. I have a knot headed blue dog, and know a lot of people that hunt them as well. You get up this way, give us a holler and we'll go have some fun.

I have a few Blue dogs. They aren't as good as Rob's though. Look us up when you come.

We are talking about trying to get a deerhunt together in Iowa and I said to heck with just deerhunting! Yeah the deerhunt would be fun but what About some Coons? Kind of a dual purpose trip, but I'd rather coonhunt while I'm there. That deerhunting happens way to early in the morning! LOL

P.S. Dan I may need to come see you, Have your $$$ ready for when you see my pup. You'll probably feel sorry enough for me to buy a box of crying rags.
