My Latest Project

I took a picture of my 9month old pup out of Jewel and Daniel and Amy Smith's Gr. Ch. Razor Ridge Pop a Top Again dog last night.

We had a storm brewing and the tracking conditions seemed a little tough, with coon not moving much.

I cut him loose down one creek, and he hunted about 40 minutes without getting a strike. When he finally came in I went to another place and cut him. He finally found a track there, but it was an old rough one. He hammered on it until he finally jumped the coon, and got him treed after a nice race through some thick briars.

Not too bad for a nine month old puppy, I didn't think. I am liking him real well.

Here he was under the groceries...

Nice!

Boy, he looks pretty mature for nine months! Hope he keeps doing well for you and making you happy!

He is a big stout pup, and is mature for his age.

He'll make a coon dog if he keeps on like he is going.

Pup

Jon is this a picture of the pup you had the last time I came up and hunted with you. I believe you had him tied up closest to the road. He was a good looking pup then. As far as being mature,he reminds me alot of Roscoe, he was about the same age, very large and good looking. Good luck with him, can't wait for the next hunt I might get to see him go.

My tracker is messed up right now or he would be wearing one.
