Ohio State Youth Hunt & State Hunt UPDATED

THERE WILL BE 10 LIGHTS FOR THE TOP TEN PLACES IN THE YOUTH NIGHT HUNT AND SIX FOR THE BENCH SHOW WINNERS. PLEASE BRING YOUR YOUTH AND LET THEM KNOW OHIO HUNTERS SUPPORT THEM.

On Oct. 4, 2008 the Ohio State Youth Hunt and Show will be held at the Jermoesville, CHA. There will be a water race, field trial, bench show, night hunt and alot of other events for the youth. Free supper for the youth.

On Oct. 24, & 25 the Ohio State Championship will be held at Holmesville at the Killbuck Valley Sportsmen's Association club with a bench show, night hunt, water race, and field trial. All these will be for a State Title. To win King, Queen and overall of hunt and show you must be a member of the OSSDA. Membership will be taken there.

ALONG WITH THE NICE TROPHIES THERE WILL BE A STATE JACKET GIVEN TO THE SHOW AND NITE HUNT WINNER.
Here is a picture of the King & Queen of Hunt and Show and High Scoring Dog of Hunt and Overall Dog of Show. King and Queen are approximately 36 inches tall and Overall trophies are 45 inches tall.

Please plan to attend and bring your family.

All this is for a good cause.
Let's help the youth. It is a good experience just to watch the excitment in the youth waiting for their casts to be called. Plan to bring your youth between the ages of 5 and 17. If you would like to donate something for the raffle or the money for a nite light, I will be calling and sending in an order sometime the first of September.

Jackie, thanks for posting this. This event is the second 'dearest' to my heart. ((the first being the Hospital Event we hold in March))

We have so much fun with these kids, I laygh all day long. Last year we had a really good turnout and I hope it's better this year!!

Come on out folks, bring the kids and the hounds and have some family fun time.

It's the best thing to watch a kid enter a hound in the night hunt, bench show, tree contest and the water race is great!

Oh, and Jackie, jot Dave and I down for a light donation. Our kids are our future....(((and the ones that will take care of us when we're old!)))

Thank goodness he is home now, but also pray for the families that lost their son and daughter in the accident. It is going to be hard for everyone at this time. Since I work with Ray there were alot of prayers going out for him this week.

OK, here is the directions from yahoo maps.

Starting in CLEVELAND, OH on E 9TH ST go toward ST CLAIR AVE NE - go 0.7 mi

Bear Right to take ramp onto I-90 W toward I-71 - go 1.2 mi

Continue on I-71 S toward COLUMBUS - go 61.5 mi

Take exit #186/ASHLAND/WOOSTER - go 0.3 mi

Turn Right on US-250 E(US-250 E) - go 0.4 mi

Continue to follow US-250 E - go 2.2 mi

Turn Right on STATE ROUTE 89(OH-89) - go 3.5 mi

Continue to follow OH-89 - go 3.9 mi

Turn Right on TOWNSHIP RD 2102 - go 1.4 mi

Arrive at TOWNSHIP RD 2102, JEROMESVILLE, on the Left
