Should work ok, pups do better on hot tracks to start with.

I agree that why lots of people like to hunt pups on buckets it allows the pup to get on a hot track with out extremely hard hunting.

HUNTER'S PRIDE KENNELS

Posted by Russell Boyette on 08-05-2008 05:31 AM:

I have heard alot of theories about what is a good pup trainer. Older dogs that have slowed, close hunters, medium hunters, hot noses, cold noses.

But what i have found makes the best pup trainer is a top coondog in his or her prime, as long as they are not rough a the tree.

pup trainer

I agree i think the hotter nosed dogs would make the better trainers, colder nosed hounds i think tend to make pups bable some times , and the hot tracks add to the excitment.
this pup should have a good nose when he learns how to use it.
he gona have one sure enough loud mouth i know that
